Accessing and transforming data can no longer be a barrier to carrying out process mining.
Several readers and friends of Inverbis might say: “Don’t get ahead of yourselves.”
Yes, it’s true that reviewing database tables and building a trace that goes from one point to another along a value chain is painful and requires hours of effort.
But the strengthening of systems that provide access to the data layer of companies has made many of the challenges of the past fade away.
On one hand, the cloud version of Denodo — with whom we are partners — integrated with Inverbis, allows data access and updating which, when used specifically for process mining, results in truly minimal costs within a project, even when using real-time data.
We’ve just signed an agreement with TimeXtender, a solution designed to work with data lakes, which offers the same flexibility for building traces.
TimeXtender is a Danish company with an incredible client base, allowing us to approach a different type of customer with remarkably limited costs.
Having direct connectors to market tools offers the advantage not just of accessing data, but also of transforming it — preparing everything for mining within seconds.
It’s useful when working within a single solution, and the truth is that many processes are self-contained… but it’s also the best way to start process mining before integrating other data sources — which we’ll do with Denodo or TimeXtender.
So, we now have a perfect trio of connectors for the ITSM world:
- JIRA JSM
- EasyVista
- And ServiceNow.
With JIRA, we work alongside Tecnofor and are already part of the Atlassian Marketplace.
More news on the others coming soon.
We see an exciting future ahead.
